The 1897 Samusch building is located at 114 N. La Grange Street in downtown Hallettsville, Texas on the east side of the courthouse square. Hallettsville is situated about 93 miles southeast of Austin and 114 miles southwest of Houston. Currently it is in use as the El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant. Filming may be limited to exterior use or interior use when business is closed.
